R. Faucett Construction began as one person's vision and has since grown into a team of skilled professionals—experienced project managers, custom cabinet makers, finish carpenters, who each bring their own expertise to every project.

Our founder Robert Faucett combines 35+ years of construction experience with a degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico, giving us a unique perspective on both the design and building process. This background allows us to work seamlessly with clients and architects from initial concept through final completion.

We believe in staying current. Our team regularly attends industry conferences to ensure we're using the latest materials, techniques, and best practices on every project.

Every project gets dedicated attention from both a Project Manager and on-site Construction Supervisor who stay with your job from start to finish. This direct oversight means we can maintain our quality standards while coordinating our RFC team, subcontractors, and vendors seamlessly. 

Our custom millwork shop is especially valuable for historic renovations and unique design challenges. We can replicate period details, match existing woodwork, or create entirely custom pieces—doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, built-ins, and architectural elements that simply aren't available off the shelf. This capability means your vision isn't limited by what's in a catalog.

The owner's architect completes the full design, the project goes to competitive bid, and R. Faucett builds. A traditional approach offering price transparency and a fully defined scope before construction begins.

Design • Build

R. Faucett serves as the owner's single point of contact for both design and construction—simplifying communication, reducing risk, and delivering projects from concept to completion under one roof.

Pre-construction • Build

R. Faucett joins the team early, collaborating with the Owner and the Owner's Architect to build a realistic budget during design. When the team is aligned, we transition seamlessly into construction as both advisor and builder.

Meet the Team

Robert Faucett

Owner & Founder

Rob founded R. Faucett Construction in 1997 and has built the company from the ground up into a highly respected custom residential firm. With a degree in Architecture, he is a former President of Central New Jersey NARI, a NARI Certified Remodeler, and a PHIUS Certified Builder. Rob has spent decades deeply studying every facet of construction, developing a level of expertise that informs the company’s standards and direction. While he manages from a high level, he remains consistently present, accessible, and engaged with both clients and team members.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, and gardening. He is also an avid distance runner, having completed eight marathons.

Don Pentz

Owner & General Manager

Don joined R. Faucett Construction in 2018, with over 20 years of construction experience, he oversees day-to-day operations.

As General Manager, he serves as the primary point of contact for clients, employees, and architects. Don leads with patience, attention to detail, and a respectful approach — qualities that shape both the company’s culture and the experience clients have from start to finish. He is committed to growing his technical knowledge alongside his leadership, bringing a hands-on understanding of the craft to every project he touches.

Outside of work, Don is dedicated to his family and enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.

Mark Fisher

Construction Manager

Mark has been a cornerstone of the RFC team since 2003, with industry experience dating back to 1984. Beginning his career as a framer and advancing to a highly skilled finish carpenter, Mark brings a comprehensive understanding of residential construction to every project. His talent, reliability, and professionalism have earned him the trust of both clients and colleagues—many repeat clients specifically request him.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Eagles.

Art Wegner

Estimator

Art joined RFC in 2008 after previously working with the company as a self-employed trim subcontractor. Impressed by the company’s professionalism and culture, he transitioned to a full-time role and has since contributed in multiple capacities, including carpenter and project manager, before becoming a full-time estimator. With over 50 years of construction experience, Art brings exceptional depth of knowledge to his work, producing highly detailed and accurate estimates. In his spare time, Art enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

Scott Carr

Construction Manager

Scott has been with RFC since 2017, bringing industry experience dating back to 1982. Clients consistently appreciate his approachable demeanor, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to delivering a high level of service. Scott’s extensive experience allows him to confidently manage projects of any size or complexity, making him a trusted leader in the field. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and participating in a wide range of outdoor activities.

Noah Donovan

Project Manager & Estimator

Noah joined RFC in early 2022 and has become an integral part of the team. As Project Manager and Estimator, he is involved in projects from start to finish — working closely with clients and architects on product selections, budgeting, and scheduling. Noah brings strong technical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and a collaborative approach to every project he is part of. Outside of work, Noah enjoys sports and spending time with his growing family.

Sheadon Carr

Field Crew

Sheadon joined RFC in June 2024 and is gaining hands-on experience working alongside his father, Scott. In a vital support role, he assists team members across projects, helping maintain clean, organized, and efficient job sites. Sheadon is a reliable and hardworking young professional with a strong work ethic and a promising future in the company.

Robert Williamson

Construction Manager/Lead Carpenter

Rob joined RFC in May 2025, bringing years of experience with a particular strength in finish work. He has quickly become a valuable addition to the field management team, with his enthusiasm and technical knowledge already making a strong impact. Rob has received excellent feedback from both clients and architects and is viewed as a team player who will continue to grow with the company.

Xavier Vallvé

Field Crew

Xavier has been with RFC since August 2024 and plays an important role in supporting daily operations across multiple job sites. Whether assisting carpenters, maintaining site organization, or handling material logistics, he consistently contributes wherever needed to keep projects moving efficiently. With a background in construction studies at trade school, Xavier brings a solid foundation and a strong desire to continue learning and advancing within the field.

Sundus Malik

Office Manager & Bookkeeper

Sundus supports RFC’s operations with a focus on organization, accuracy, and efficiency. With a background in Economics and Education, she plays a key role in maintaining the company’s administrative and financial systems. Her attention to detail and disciplined approach help ensure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes, supporting both the team and the client experience.

As a PHIUS Certified Builder (CPHB), we offer specialized expertise in passive building construction for clients seeking the highest standards in energy efficiency, comfort, and durability through advanced building science and proven construction techniques.

As an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, we follow strict lead-safe work practices for renovation, repair, and painting activities, ensuring the safety of your family and property through proper containment, minimization, and cleanup procedures required by the EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule.
