Excellent. Responsive. Detail-Oriented. An August storm caused a tree in our backyard to fall and land on the roof of our house, cracking the dining room ceiling underneath. When I heard the thud, I knew I had to act quickly. Based on a neighbor’s recommendation, I contacted Faucett Construction. Rob Faucett took my call and promptly sent a crew over to the house to inspect the area, rule out structural damage and mitigate the immediate damage. Throughout the repair process that followed, I found Rob Faucett and each crew member to be professional, responsive and very detail-oriented. For example, I was concerned about dust getting into our house, window treatments and upholstery. The crew took extra care to seal off our dining room in a plastic bubble and run an air purifier. When they left the room looked cleaner than when they started…not a speck of dust. We were so pleased with the quality of Faucett’s work, we asked them to work on another project in our home
Rob Faucett did a complete kitchen renovation and attached modern steel, concrete and ipe deck with roof. He had been strongly recommended by our architect, Leslie Dowling of Dowling Studios. We could not have been more happy with the outcome of the project, which is stunning. From start to finish the crew was always on site without interruption, and Rob’s foreman supervised every detail so that we did not have to worry about anything. The carpenters were master craftsmen and their workmanship was outstanding. Rob was a pleasure to deal with, professional and a gentleman. He is the best around. Our enthusiastic recommendation!
We’ve just completed our second renovation project with the RFC team, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The work is impeccable with extreme attention to the big picture as well as the finest details from start to finish. Rob was the perfect choice for our project, after having worked with or approached some other less savory characters! He was fully committed to our success, contributed a great many important ideas (as did his team of subcontractors) that we never would have thought of on our own and which really made the outcome special. We had never taken on a project of this scope so were really dependent on a trustworthy, patient, knowledgeable partner, and we found that in Rob. He has also stayed committed to fine-tuning things long after the bulk of the project was completed. We recommend him without hesitation.
We worked with Faucett Construction several times over the past ten years. Rob and his folks built our house and have done a couple of add-ons and renovations. Rob is a true professional with a refreshingly calm and honest “bed-side” manner. As stressful as these projects can be, we never once felt ignored, frustrated, or disappointed. Rob was intimately involved in developing each project providing expert advice and guidance – getting us what we wanted, without real compromise, and making sure we were aware of the immediate and long-term costs of our decisions. His people (and sub-contractors) are friendly, capable, and energetic, and delivered on-time and on budget. I cannot recommend Rob and his company highly enough. These guys are the “best”!
The workers were extremely skilled, very polite, and friendly. The work was done on time and without error. Each individual was expert in many different aspects of construction, and they worked beautifully as a team. They were very amenable to any suggestions we had and explained their rationale for whatever course of action was taken. Overall we could not imagine a better choice of company and architect to entrust our vision of the project.
We did renovation and extension to our house. We were very happy with the results it was a pleasure to work with Rob he is very knowledgeable and has ideas and solutions to problems we encounter along the way.
The project was an addition to an old farm house. I am a Registered N.J. architect and I designed the addition which included an office,laundry room,shop,studio and a garage. Rob, the owner of Faucett Construction Co. was deeply involved in all aspects of the construction. The project superintendent, Mark Fisher was very capable and an excellent craftsman. His attention to detail was remarkable. The work was completed on time and within the budget. His staff worked well with sub-contractors which I hired directly. Additional requests for change orders was never an issue. Several years later Rob constructed a replacement screened in porch and his performance was the same. I would highly recommend him for similar projects.

We are extremely happy with the workmanship and professionalism of Rob and his team. He completely renovated both our kitchen and master bath. From the start of the assessment and bidding process through demolition and construction and final inspections and sign off, Rob was attentive, fair and transparent. He helped us see what different options were available to consider, worked with the architect to map out a plan, and provided great oversight throughout the job. Rob’s crew was also great to work with. Their workmanship was exceptional and they were attentive to details, both of the work they were doing, and the house and environment they were working in. The subcontractors Rob brought on board for electric and plumbing were similarly exceptional. We are very pleased with end result and grateful to Rob and his team for their work and getting us through the process.
I have used Faucett Construction for all my home renovation/construction work for the past 10 years. They gutted and redid my kitchen and bathrooms; converted a screened porch into a beautiful sunroom; redesigned and constructed a deck and stone patio area with walls and planters. They take great care to protect your living area while the work is being done. I am very picky and would rate them an A+. They replaced a huge Palladium window and french doors for me. The workers are top notch and very skilled and also very respectful and helpful, pointing out the pro’s and con’s.They are very responsive and show-up when they say they will. When I have a home improvement/construction project, Rob Faucett is the one I call. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Rob is working with me on my new Net-Zero house near Flemington. A great guy, he knows many great subs, and has a through knowledge of construction and isn’t afraid to take on a project that is out of the box.
